We are all sinners we just haven’t committed the same sin. In God’s eyes sin is sin, and sin separates us from God. God knowing that we are incapable of saving our selves provided a way out. When we accept Jesus Christ as Lord of our lives God sees us through Christ’s blood and He sees us as clean. (Listen to Clean by Natalie Grant)
1 John:8-10 (NASB 1995) "8 If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us. "
As children of God, we are to make Christ followers of all people. We cannot do this without being in the world. Being in the world is different than being of the world.
MARK 2:17 (NASB 1995) “16 When the scribes of the Pharisees saw that He was eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they said to His disciples, “Why is He eating and drinking with tax collectors and [a]sinners? ”And hearing this, Jesus *said to them, “It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick; I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.””
