Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

I woke up this morning and this verse came to mind.  And then I remembered God had fulfilled this verse in my life.  For about a year and a half I had walked in excruciating pain.  I walked bent over.  I thought I would never walk upright again.

God did not choose to heal me miraculously this time.  He chose the surgeons.  I had back surgery which corrected a part of the problem, about nine months later I had hip surgery.  I am now able to walk uprightly and without pain.  Praise God for providing the surgeons and the healing.

Today I can now do things I had not been able to do in the last two years.  This verse has been fulfilled in my life.

Praise God for his blessings.

Appropriate hymn the Doxology.
