Do you love and know Jesus and the Father?  There is a difference between knowing Him and knowing about him.  I know about Mahatma Gandhi and have respect for him.  However, I never knew him.

1 John 1:1-3  New American Standard Bible 1995

“1 What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands, concerning the Word of Life— 2 and the life was manifested, and we have seen and testify and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was manifested to us— 3 what we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ."

You can know about Jesus and God (Yahweh) without knowing them.

The disciples knew and understood that they had fellowship (relationship) with the Father, and the Son.

Today disciples must also have relationships with them.  This relationship usually stems from love.

How do we express that love?

John 14:15  New American Standard Bible 1995

“15 “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.”

John 14:21  New American Standard Bible 1995

“21 He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.””

John 14:23  New American Standard Bible 1995

“23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.”

Do you have relationships with them today?
