Today some churches are teaching a gospel of their own interpretation that does not align with the word God has given us. This teaching aligns along what is considered culturally correct, while Biblical truth is at times considered culturally incorrect. The word of God is always true regardless of the culture. God is omnipotent and there is no one greater than Him. “16 All Scripture is [a]inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for [b]training in righteousness;” Timothy 3:16 New American Standard Bible 1995
God, Yahweh, sent Jesus into the world to save sinners. It is through his shed blood that salvation is found. “12 And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 New American Standard Bible 1995
As Paul was teaching the gospel he preached truth. But at some point, after he ministered to the Galatians, they altered some of the teaching to fit their own desires. Turning a blind eye to the truth that God put forth. Many have done this today. They will be surprised to find out that God will judge them according to His truth. It doesn’t matter what society says or what the government says, His word is eternal, and all people will be judged by His standards.
“6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— 7 not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.
10 For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant[a] of Christ.
11 For I would have you know, brothers, that the gospel that was preached by me is not man's gospel.[b]” Galatians 1:6-11 English Standard Version
Satan has blinded many to the omnipotent power of God and the truth of His word. He deceives them by letting them think this earthly life is all there is. Satan tells people do whatever makes you feel good.
Life is eternal, only as you journey through time can you decide where you will spend eternity. If you truly accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, his blood will cover your sins, and you will have eternal life in heaven. If you choose not to receive this free gift you are sentenced to eternal damnation where you will reside in hell for ever.
