Daniel 12:9-13

New American Standard Bible 1995

He said, “Go your way, Daniel, for these words are concealed and sealed up until the end time. 10 Many will be purged, [a]purified and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but [b]those who have insight will understand. 11 From the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished and the [c]abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. 12 How blessed is he who keeps waiting and attains to the 1,335 days! 13 But as for you, go your way to the [d]end; then you will enter into rest and rise again for your allotted portion at the end of the [e]age.”

The first part of verse 10 refers to believers in Yahweh.  As a heavenly father the Lord leads his children in righteousness, purging, purifying, and refining us.  This is an ongoing process.

The second half refers to unbelievers.  Unbelievers does not mean people who have never heard of the Gospel of Christ and of His God.  But it refers to people who choose not to seek after God they are too busy pursuing their own worldly goals and make choices in favor of the world and their worldly desires rather than choosing to follow God’s word.  They choose to change the truth of God into a lie. How many times do we see people professing to be Christian but not following the teachings of Christ today?
