Are there benefits to seeking God?  The Bible speaks to this many times.    God’s love for us is immeasurable.  He created the heavens and the earth and gave man dominion over the earth.

He sent Jesus as a sacrificial offering for our sins so that we may have eternal life.  He gave us the Holy Spirit to guide us and give us wisdom.

He gave us a choice to accept his blessings and mercy or to reject them.  His desire is that we accept His blessings and be a blessing to others.  If He gave us nothing but Jesus that should be sufficient.  But he has promised us much.

His expectation is that we walk by faith, that we acknowledge Him and His son Jesus as the atoner for our sins.

But if we do not seek Him, He does not give up on us He sends the Holy Spirit to draw us to Him.

The following scriptures speak to us seeking Him and His blessings.

Isaiah 55:6 King James Version

6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

Jeremiah 29:13 King James Version

13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart

Hebrews 11:6 King James Version

6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Matthew 6:33 King James Version

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Psalm 34:10 King James Version

10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.

Matthew 7:7 King James Version

7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

May the Holy Spirit speak to your heart.
