God’s (Yahweh’s) directive is clear:

“21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons. 22 Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? We are not stronger than He, are we?” 1 Corinthians 10:21-22 New American Standard Bible 1995

During the Feast of Passover, the disciples met with Jesus in the upper room. They came to celebrate the original Passover when the Israelites put blood on the door post of their homes so that the Death Angel would not come and take their first born. Pharaoh had enslaved the Israelites and refused to set them free. After several warnings from Yahweh, He took the life of the first born of Egypt.

Jesus led the meeting and spoke of his impending death. “23 For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 26 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.” 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 New International Version  His blood applied to our hearts spares us from the second death.

You cannot claim the benefit of Christ’s sacrifice and live embracing doctrines of demons. This includes but is not limited to idolatry, which is idol worship, fornication, adultery and other sins that gratify the flesh. We are called to live a righteous life, walking in the way Yahweh has defined as godly. “13 Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming. 14 As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. 15 But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16 for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”[a] 17 Since you call on a Father who judges each person’s work impartially, live out your time as foreigners here in reverent fear.” 1 Peter 1:13-17 New International Version

“16 Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, “I will dwell in them and walk among them; And I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 17 “Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate,” says the Lord. “And do not touch what is unclean; And I will welcome you. 18 “And I will be a father to you, And you shall be sons and daughters to Me,”” Says the Lord Almighty. 2 Corinthians 6:16-18 New American Standard Bible 1995
